Hopi Territory 2015
Silicone, plywood, steel chassis
104 x 250 x 108 cm

Hopi territory is a silicone imprint of a wall, more precisely from a 150 years old building located in the historic center of Montreal.
This imprint, directly made on the wall, is cast and then displayed horizontally on a table. The original bas-relief, naturally created by years and years of erosion, becomes the model of an imaginary territory.
