White opal
25 X 12 X 10mm

Opal is a crystal-clear stone, the crystals of which only form by pseudomorphosis, that is to say by the transformation of an existing solid, the most frequent being those of wood, shells and bones. This idea of slow transformation of bony matter is used again here by the moulding of a white opal in the shape of a human tooth, like the residue of a false skeleton. This molar constitutes a future fossill in a way, a human one.
